A.G.E.N.D.A Guardianship was founded on a single conviction: that talent is universal, but opportunity is not. We exist to close that gap — one filmmaker at a time.
Why We Exist
The Mission
A.G.E.N.D.A Guardianship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, professional-grade filmmaking education to underprivileged youth and young adults ages 13–25. We believe that storytelling is a fundamental human right — and that the stories most worth telling are often the ones least likely to be funded, produced, or distributed without intervention.
Access
No student should be priced out of a creative education. Every A.G.E.N.D.A program is 100% free.
Excellence
We hold our students to professional standards — because the industry will too.
Equity
We actively recruit from communities historically excluded from the film industry.
Impact
We measure success not in graduates, but in films made, careers launched, and stories told.
How It Started
From a Classroom to a Global Movement
A.G.E.N.D.A Guardianship began in Los Angeles — a city that produces more films than anywhere else on earth, yet where most young people living within miles of a studio lot have never held a camera.
Our founders saw this contradiction up close. They had worked in the industry. They had seen the talent that existed in communities that the industry had never bothered to look at. And they decided to do something about it.
What started as a single workshop in South Los Angeles has grown into a multi-stage curriculum serving students across the United States and through a growing network of global chapters. Every program we run is free. Every piece of equipment we provide is professional-grade. Every mentor we bring in has real industry credits.
We are not a film school. We are a pipeline — from the first written word to the final streaming frame.

YOOSUF MOMENT
Founder & Executive Director
YOOSUF AMUN MOMENT founded A.G.E.N.D.A Guardianship after more than a decade working in film and television production. He has directed and produced projects for major networks and streaming platforms, and has mentored hundreds of emerging filmmakers throughout his career.
